Apple TV, Netflix and Audio description: A Question

By John Lipsey, 15 July, 2015

tvOS and Apple TV Apps

Hi all:

Today, I was watching an episode of Criminal Minds. I followed the steps outlined to enable audio description for the episode I was watching. After the episode ended and the next one queued up to play, I had to once again enable audio description. Does this need to be done for each episode of a series? Is there, as would ideally be the case, a way to make the audio description choice stick from episode to episode? Is this an issue across devices, or something unique to the Apple TV Netflix interface?

Thanks in advance!

-John

I find when the option for audio description, apple calls it video description in the accessibility menu is turned on, the description sticks for each episode.

That's the menu when holding the back button, asuming you have it enabled.
