I killed my dishwasher a few days ago by falling on top of the open door. Poor thing. Has anyone purchased a dishwasher? I am looking for something that’s easy to use and preferably without Wi-Fi.
I found out that whirlpool offers a version of dishwasher that has raised buttons. Of course, one of them cycles between various washing settings. But, the sales person said that it will stay put once you said it. I hope he was right.
Hello Honest Man: when you get that new dish washer, let us know how you like it. Everything's a computer now. Years ago, I had a simple dish washer with a lever to close the door and a nob to turn and start. No programming necessary. LOL!
The app is sensi touch.
The hardware is completely touch screen, and for the weather api we have to connect it to wifi with all the implication of known terrible iot security (I watch Louis Rossmann and Low Level videos among others so...). To connect to the phone we need wifi first so I would nae never been able to do this myself. And just to be able to adjust the temperature with my phone I'd need to give them my email to create an account before I can do anything on the app like pair it to the thermostat. I don't know what android 10 the mini tablet is running but it's probably bad. Remember, all this just to adjust AC! Technology and enshittification is at the core of everything corporations do these days indeed.
I hate everything moving to a touchscreen now. I don’t really even love it on iPhone, but iPhone has so many other things that I kind of just tried to ignore the fact. I’m much rather have chopped buttons on things. Thankfully, my two keyboard and digital pianos have button driven interface is still where everything is completely tactical so that’s a good thing. The only other place that happens for me is that I still use an actual Perkins barrel rider and a mechanical keyboard for my computer. But yeah, hopefully you can find a dishwasher that’s easy to operate. Good luck and let us know how it goes.
