What happens when your iCloud gets hacked - a story to think about

So, I found this rather scary post, which shows what happens when you depend on Apple's services to protect your data. Look below the link for a reall quick summary and my thoughts http://www.emptyage.com/post/28679875595/yes-i-was-hacked-hard This unlucky person got hacked by someone who tricked Apple support to give him our unlucky fellow's iCloud password. And because his iCloud email was his gMail backup, things went downhill from there. One thought that immediately comes to mind is that remote wipe should have a separate pass code, so that this sort of thing wouldn't happen. Also, it really makes you think just how much you want to depend on the cloud for backup and security. This is one of the reasons why I use pop3 and don't store my E-mails on Gmail.
