Voice Over and Assistive Touch

By Andrew, 22 January, 2014

Hello All, I am trying to find information on using assistive touch and voice over at the same time. I am not able to locate this, "transparent white dot" that all of these articles speak of with voice over. Apparently this white dot is on every screen but I am not able to find this dot and tap on it using voice over. Does anyone know if this can be done? I am completely and totally blind. Thank you in advance for any information you could share as to how to accomplish this. Thank you. -Andrew-

VoiceOver and assistive touch

When I turn Assisstive Touch on, the white dot appears at the right hand side and near the bottom of the screen. I can't swipe to it, but I can drag my finger around and find it. Voiceover calls it "assistive touch menu". once I've double tapped it, i can then swipe right and left as usual to get to the options within it. Steve
