siri tell us the next apple event

When I tried it, it just told me to go to apple's website.

Same here, Siri just tells me to check out Apple's event page for information on future events. I even tried asking Siri a few times to see if their response would change and no luck, same response each time.

Hopefully Siri's little snaffoo will turn out to be truthful and an event is going to happen next Tuesday.

I just tried this on my HomePod mini, and Siri did indeed say that there is an event next week! WooHoo! 🎉

I just tried to ask Siri twice, and it didn’t work either time for me.
Do you have to phrase the question a specific way?

I simply asked: “Hey Siri, when's the next Apple event?”

There are lots of reports online of mixed results, so your mileage is likely to vary ☺️

though the event is official now.. just received an email from apple :)
don't know why I haven't turned off those emails...

Didn't work for me either. Siri just sent me to the website.

Hi: I got an email yesterday from Apple. The next event is April 20, 2021, at 12:00 noon Central Time.

I asked Siri again this morning and it worked.
