Well, first you need an Apple account. I am sure that when you got your iPhone, you will need to have one. If not, you will need to download iTunes, and connect your phone to your computer. iTunes will prompt you to either have an Apple ID or make a new one. When you make a new one, you will just fill out the form with your information. If you wanted to buy apps, you will need to provide apple with either a creditcard or your debitcard. I use my debitcard with my apple account. After that, you should already be signed in to your apple account on your iPhone. If not, you can go and sign in to your account from your phone by going to settings, store, and sign in. There, you can input your login information you gave when you first started making your apple ID. When you start buying apps, apple will have this message that tells you to verify your card, and it will take you to a page on your phone where you have to provide the 3digit code that is on the back of your debit/creditcard. After this, it will prompt you to repurchis your app, which will not charge you again. If you need more help, please feel free to ask.

It can be overwhelming at first, but I'd just concentrate on learning and getting comfortable making and recieving calls. I started by paging thru the Apple Support website: . The first few topics are "Getting Started" and "Basics". If you are going to use VocieOver, you'll want to learn how to use it, at first, too. I also went to my carrier's website, and went through their iphone support forums, there was a lot of helpful information there,as well. As smartphones go, the iphone is a very user-friendly, accessible, device, so just be patient and have fun playing with your new smartphone, and your knowledge will build quickly..
