Backing up an iPod Touch

By Tracy Carcione, 27 December, 2017

I got a new iPod for Christmas! I want to backup my old iPod, so I can copy all the apps at once to my new device.
When I go to iTunes, with my old device connected, I find backup under the iTunes file menu, but it is not available. How do I change that?
I am using iTunes for Windows and Jaws 16. If there is something better than iTunes for this purpose, I'll try it. ITunes stinks.

If you have an Apple ID, you can if you haven't already, set the device up as a new device and pull everything from the ICloud service. Otherwise, when it comes to the computer? You must use ITunes.

after you have connect your old device to your computer, you must go into your device on the itune. if you keep navigate or if you can see the device should be where it say "Music", "device", "library", you must click on the device. under the device summary, you should be able to back it up.

Happy Holliday!
