Apple accessibility line diverting calls to general Applecare technical support

When I called the Apple Accessibility US number at 877-204-3930, I was routed without my knowledge to general Applecare technical support. When the representative answered, they had no idea I was trying to contact the accessibility line and had to put me on hold to transfer me. They said it could be a problem with their routing system. Has anyone else experienced this?

To tell, you can call the number and ask the representative if they're accessibility trained or Applecare technical support.
