1 computer, 2 Apple ID's?

My girls are getting iPod touches for Christmas. I am trying to set a few things up for them before I turn them over to them Friday. I need to figure out how to use iTunes on their computer to load music on them, but they each have their own apple ID. Is there a comprehensive tutorial on how to do this? ITunes always gives me fits, but I have to do this, so hopefully it won't be the death of me. Thanks for any wisdom from afar.

Hi. I think the best way to go about this is to set up 2 different iTunes libraries for them. I'm guessing your using Windows, you can read how to do it here. https://support.apple.com/kb/PH12366?locale=en_US.

I am trying this on my computer first to see if I can get it to work. I created a library and named it Christmas. When I chose that library from the dialogue box, it opened, I think, but the music in my previous library is showing up in iTunes. Does it automatically place that music in the new library, and I have to delete it? Will I haave an easier time if I create a new user account on the PC?

when you make a new library from scratch, it's like starting iTunes for the first time.

To switch from one library to another, you'll need to close iTunes and hold down shift when you go to launch iTunes.

You then get a choice of choosing an existing library or creating a new one.

Each library is in its own folder.

The only problem I see with this method is when syncing contacts with windows contacts, if you're syncing to the cloud you probably won't have this problem.
