Working with Chart properties in the New Numbers

Hi there! I'm hoping that some of the people who've been around the Mac a bit longer than I can answer this question. I am trying to change chart properties in the new Numbers under Mavericks such as title and axis labels. When I go to the format inspector and check the title box, I do not see a text field anywhere where you can actually type in a title. When changing axis labels under the axis radio button in the format inspector, a dialog pops up, but you can only type certain characters into it. This is getting slightly annoying and I really hope there is a way to change these. since I haven't successfully changed anything, I hope VO would tell you the title of the chart to let you know what data is being plotted. I will probably send an email to Apple Accessibility, but thought I'd ask on here first to see if I was missing anything. Chelsea

any update?

Hi Chelsea, I know this post is from quite a long time ago, but just found it while doing a google search on this same topic, trying to label axes in a chart in numbers unsuccessfully. Did you ever figure out a way to do this?

Thanks so much,

Rocco
