Hi, everyone!
I was just wondering, for those of you that use Chrome on the Mac, does anyone know why VO doesn't announce any keyboard echo whatsoever when typing? It only seems to happen to me in Chrome, nowhere else. Thanks in advance, guys!

Agreed. I used chrome for a long time, but have since moved away from it for the time being.
I tried firefox, but it was a pain in the "you know what" so moved away from it for now. Use safari for everything, currently. However, I believe and have done so for a long time now that the echo thing in chrome is not a VO thing. It's on googles side of the board, and the only way to find out what you've typed in the edit boxes is to arrow around and see what's in them. Other than that, I can't figure any other work around if you are using chrome, except to use the chromevox extension.
