Using Safari with VoiceOver

Hello friends: I just recently plunged into VoiceOver, after realizing the very hard way, I had no better choice with my declining vision. I am using a lot of AppleVis resources to accomplish this goal. Can someone explain me the difference between web spots, auto web spots, sweet spots and hot spots in relation to a web page? Thanks, mani

Hi Mani! Did you ever get a clear explanation of the difference in web spots, auto web spots, sweet spots and hot spots? I'm just starting to play with hot spots with an application and also creating activities abut there is not much info that I can find on how exactly they work. Jim

Help with spots

Hi.
I, too, would like more info on the various types of spots named in the original post. I've recently taken the plunge and made the complete switch to Mac. I'm loving it but I do miss the ability to bookmark a spot on a page like I could with JFW. I'm sure there's a way and I'm sure it involves a spot of some sort. If someone could either clarify this or point me to a guide that explains this in plain English, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks so much.

Hi all! I see that the comments on this post haven't been very helpful this far, and the link provided in the comment above doesn't seem to work anymore.
I too would like to get some clarification on the difference between the various spots forweb navigation in VO for Mac. The thing I'm most curious about, is the term Sweetspots. I know that hitting the command for making webspots twice makes a sweetspot instead, but what the heck is that? And what is it's use? Couldn't find any information on this in Apples own user manual for VO on Mac either...
Take care,
Cliff

I still haven't figured them out but I have managed to use Safari quite effectively without them. LOL

Haha! Amazing! ;)
I find it quite funny actually that someone haven’t been able to give any good hints about this world of web spots after all this time! ;)
Perhaps this is one of the things we really don’t get a decent answer for untill the afterlife! Lol ;)
