Touch Tones on my Mac

I used to read Braille with my left hand and use the touch tones on my phone with my right hand. I would like to get rid of my landline and I see that I can use a virtual phone in Big Sur. I am able to call a phone number using the number pad on my computer, but when I get to the place in the banking system where I need to press touch tones, my number pad doesn't generate them. However, sighted people using the mouse can press the buttons on the screen. Does anyone else have this challenge and has anyone else come up with a solution? I'd even be willing to use a separate piece of hardware that would generate the tones like the phone hackers did in the 80's if that would solve the problem.
