anyone playing games using steam on mac
if so,
my question is:
1. does it support all games on steam?
2. does it workig in the latest Mac iwth M1 or M2 chip?
even in windows it is also not quite accessible.
but, I know that in windows system.
when we bought the game.and finished all the paidment thing.
on the steam webpage it can hit "I already in stall steam " and download the game...
something like it.
and it will automatically install. and after the installation.
the game icon will appear in the desktop.
how about Mac OS then
Steam has seen some updates that makes the sign-in screen more accessible. Has anyone had any recent experience, i.e last few weeks or so, trying to use Steam on Mac? The biggest question, I think, is whether there are any games on Steam that will work on Mac. The reason Valve neglects its Mac app is probably because not many games developed for Mac end up on Steam.
There, as far as I know, aren't any games sold through the steam platform that work on Mac. The best way to think of it is a market place rather than a gaming platform. Games such as The Last Of Us are available to buy, both through steam and stand alone for PC. Because of this, if there are accessible games for Mac, it is likely you can get them elsewhere but, the original game does have to be written for Mac, there isn't a generic steam playability that works on all machines, more is the pity. The best you're really going to get on mac is using a VM through something like parallels. I'm using it at the moment to play Mist World which, for any who haven't heard of it, is an accessible MMOG. it's fun. Sadly they don't have a port for the Mac as yet.
Oh, and forget playing the last of us through a VM. It won't work. Fact is, if you want to play games, you need a PC. I had a play with shadow PC for a while, a remote PC you rent, which might be workable, though ends up being quite expensive.
I'm currently playing Brock the InvestiGator on my Mac, and it works great. Sadly for those wanting to play the Last of Us, most Macs don't have the graphical power to do all the heavy lifting the game requires; its system requirements are so demanding that you need a fairly high-end gaming setup. Do the developers of Mistworld actually plan on creating a Mac port? If so that would be awesome. If unlikely.
Remember, steam is a curation tool, not a platform that allows for games to be played anywhere steam is available. Best to simply look at games for Mac. they are likely to be on steam anyway, but that will tell you what is available.
Regarding a Mac port of mist world, I doubt it. It would be nice though and would expand the reach.

Mortal Kombat
Does steam have Mortal Kombat?
Sure is, but it's a windows game.
