So, my Mac OS switch from Windows 10 is still going strong: I'm amazed at how easy the OS has been to learn and use. I do have a couple of questions though, which I hope you can help me with.
How do I jump to the top of a page, and to the bottom of a page? For example, on a webpage, how do I jump to the top of the webpage? How about in a Pages document -- how do I jump to the beginning of the body of text?
In Pages, or any word processor, is there a VO command to jump the cursor to the beginning or end of the current line?
Finally, I was wondering what Spotify was like in regards to accessibility on the Mac? I'm considering switching back to Spotify from Apple Music, but wasn't sure what Mac accessibility was like.
moving from top to bottom etc.
It has been over a year since I gave up the Mac, but from my memory, VO function shift left arrow will jump you to the top of a web page etc, those keys with the right arrow will bring you to the bottom; by the way, I believe this may have been changed at some point so it might work without the shift key. To jump to the start or end of a line I believe you can use the left/right arrow keys with the command key; I may have this backwards, I know command and control on the Mac will allow you to move by word or jump to the start or end of a line.
I can't really help you with Spotify, I know it works ok on Windows, but it's not great and I think it is worse on the Mac.
Tree is right. To jump to the
Tree is right. To jump to the beginning of a line, use CMD+left/right arrows. To go to the home/end of a web page/document/whatever, use VO+Shift+FN+left/right arrows. Also, CMD+up/down arrows will take you to the beginning of a document in text edit, pages, etvc.
