recording with garage band

Good afternoon. I have a MacBook pro and need to record a song that will be played at church. I have a karaoke machine and an accompaniment track. I need to record myself singing the track and then put it on a flash drive. is this possible to do with garage band? Thank you.

I believe you can copy the mp3 of the track to the clip board and place it at time 0 Then create another track and hit r when you down arrow to it and you should be good to go. Remember to turn the click off as you won't need it and it will drive you baunkers. I thought there were replies to this thread but maybe not so I'm replying.
