Question about speech attributes and activities on Mac

By Alexandra Moldovan, 4 April, 2020

Hello,
I was wondering if there is a possibility to remove voices from the speech attributes menu (I mean Vo+shift+up or down arrow). And I'd also like to know if there is any possibility to use the same activity for more apps (if I choose it, to use it until I switch to another one), because when I hit command + tab, it switches to the default activity.
Thanks.

Removing voices

Hi! Yes, it is possible to remove voices from this menu, just go to the VoiceOver utility, speech, press the default voice button, then customise and then just untick the tickboxes from the voices you don't need and press okay. Then it will be prompted for you to remove voices or leave them on your mac. Usually I delete them. Done, the voices are no longer in this menu!

Thank you
