Problem sharing media to twitter via the built in share menu

Hi all. When on Youtube, I can't click the share menu and share to twitter. I get: "Can not send tweet, inserting text of the tweet, because the connection has failed." Has anyone else seen this? Using the latest Mac os beta, in case the stable release works. i thought they broke this? Thanks for the help.
