Hi friends, I hope you're doing well. I'm facing a few small issues. For example, when there's a link somewhere—like if someone sends me a link on WhatsApp—I can't click on it to open it. And when there are multiple links in a message, I don’t know how to open them at all. Please guide me.
Also, I haven’t been able to find many tutorials on this site. If possible, please share a link to them. I don’t even know how to do basic things like copy and paste.
One more thing—I’d love to use the trackpad like on the iPhone. On iPhone, there’s a feature that lets you customize touch gestures. I’d like to know if macOS has something similar.

I don't use the WhatsApp app on my Mac but hopefully someone else can help with anything specific there.
In general, to copy and paste you press Cmd+C or cmd+V. If you are used to Windows then Cmd works in a similar way to Control on Windows.
You can also copy the last thing VoiceOver has said to the clipboard which can be useful. To do this, you press VO+Shift+C. (Where VO is usually Control plus Option although it can also be set to Caps Lock)
Copying can be a bit fiddly at times - in particular in web sites and apps it can be a bit of a pain. Are you trying to do this in WhatsApp too?
Generally to open a link, you navigate to it and press VO+Space. But I'm not sure how easy this is to do in WhatsApp.
Re customisation
Missed this question - there is a lot of customisation you can do on the Mac. The link I posed previously has a section on the VoiceOver Utility which you can bring up with VO+F8. Here there is a section called Commands. You can enable the option that allows you to control VoiceOver with the trackpad, and that lets you use swipes like on the iPhone. From here you can also customise all the different commands.
(This assumes you are using MacOs Sequoia - it is a little different in previous versions)
