OBS and stream labs

Hi, I am trying to use stream labs or OBS to stream so that my video is in the main screen and I am in the corner reacting to the video like people do on the YouTube, but I can’t seem to figure out how OBS worked for like a hot minute and then it crashed now every time I try to bring it up it says it’s not responding even if I uninstall it and reinstall it no matter what I do it crashes and it will not open on my Mac I hope they have anything on my Mac and I have a MacBook Air 2020 one of the ones with the silicone chip. I downloaded the right version and it just doesn’t work. Also instream labs and OBS it won’t let me click to add sources there is no plus button. I have tried right clicking in the sources boxes and nothing happens. According to my information right click is Vio shift and M. Any help or advice would be appreciated. TIA, Sarah a.
