Navigating Tables in MacOS

I'm reaching out to fellow Mac users for any tips or tricks you’ve discovered for navigating tables in Pages and Microsoft Word using VoiceOver. As some of you may know, Apple has made table navigation in Pages particularly challenging. I often lose control of Quick Nav, and I find myself constantly needing to interact and stop interacting with the table just to move around. The arrow keys frequently stop responding, and the cursor can jump unpredictably, making things even more frustrating.
This mainly happens when I work with tables in Pages. Have you found any effective strategies or workflows that make navigating these documents easier? I’d love to hear what’s worked for you.

To be honest, I don't seem to experience the issues that you bring up. Microsoft Word on Mac in terms of accessibility just seems to be cursed, and I'd never seriously think of using it for anything. Pages on the other hand has worked well from my experience. All you have to do is interact with the table in the document. Then, you can use standard VO+Arrow shortcuts which reads well. You can also just use arrows, but be aware that navigation does wrap different when navigating like this. E.G>, if I had a 3x3 table and I was currently on cell A2, pressing down arrow would navigate me to A3. However, pressing down arrow once more would wrap me back up to B1.
