Most accessible DAW to use with audio interface?

Hello, Which application is the most accessible to record with my audio interface? I need to record two channels, hopefully in separate mono tracks that I will mix later. Obviously GarageBand can do that, but would you recommend the old one or the new version that came out a couple of months ago? Audacity is quite accessible, but multichannel recording support doesn't seem to be very good as you can't assign individual channels to different tracks. Is Logic Pro X usable at all? Any other ideas?
