Making an alias for the dropbox folder

Hi everyone. I want to make an alias to my dropbox folder and put it on my desktop. I go to the sidebar table, interact with it, find the dropbox folder, uninteract with the sidebar table, and then press command l for "make alias." Instead of making an alias for my dropbox folder, it makes an alias for the first folder in my dropbox folder and sometimes it doesn't make an alias at all. If anyone knows what I'm doing wrong, pleas let me know. T Thanks and happy holidays!! Holly

There's an easier way to do this.
  • navigate to your dropbox folder but do not open it.
  • hit cmd plus l and wait for the alius to be created.
  • move to the desktop and you shoudl be good to go.
I hope that works. Good luck.
