Now that downcas is a pain to use under osx I'm looking for something that will be slick and not go busy on me when loading 60 podcast eps. Overcast is good, however it is not an app. I don't want to do anything through the web. Instacast is dead so can someone recommend something I can use on both iOs and osx that offers what overcast does but in a more intuitive interface? I love the smart speed feature and wish other apps could offer that.

Nope. Stitcher is not in the MAS. I looked at how to do it but I have an opml of about 60 podcasts. This will not work I don't think, unless I can import my opml of podcasts into vlc. I also just tried to do it and podcast is no longer one of the options in vlc for mac anyway.
