By Siobhan, 8 October, 2015 Forum macOS and Mac Apps Hi all. Iphoto has been on my update list but every time i try, it says "this is temporarily unavailable, try again later." The only option is ok. I haven't tried this myself, but a possible solution, could be to move iPhoto to the trash, and install it again from the app store. Only a suggestion. I'm having this problem as well I'm wondering how important an app IPhoto actually is; can honestly say that I've never even used it before. Am definitely curious if deleting it and trying to redownload from the app store would fix the issue, or if it's even an app I *need* to keep at all. iPhoto Its probably not very important as it is no longer being developed. The new photos app looks very promising. So I can just So can I just delete it from the Mac? I never use it anyway, given that I can't see any photos. Lol. photos No you can't delete the photos app because it's a part of OS 10. While you can't delete Photos While you can't delete Photos, you should be able to delete iPhoto.
