How to have VoiceOver focus go to the last read tweet in Twitter for Mac rather than the top of the timeline?

Whenever I go to the timeline in the official Twitter app for the Mac, VoiceOver focus always places me at the top. Is there a trick for landing on the last read tweet instead?
