How to Bring Back “Battery Time Remaining” in macOS High Sierra?

hi all, in mac osx hi-sierra i note that in the extras menu i hear 47 percent for example, of battery but not how many hours or usage time if you prefer, this equals. is this normal? how can i revert to the behaviour found in 10,12? thank you.Will

I've found that the hours remaining indicator was not so reliable, here's a link to an article discussing this and providing ways to get it back if you really want or need it
