Has any one tried google Crome on the mac
Has any one tried google Crome? On the mac.
I tried google chrome on my mac book air and it is very accessible.
Google Chrome lacks the 'Show Reader' feature which I use extensively on Safari whenever possible. That is enough for me to not try Google Chrome, unless I am proven completely wrong.
I've used Chrome on the Mac as well. It worked pretty well with VoiceOver, but I could not write anything in edit fields. However, the latest build of Chromevox Classic works nicely on here too. One caveat though is that with Chromevox, a website has to be open in order for the extension to work. There is currently a beta version of Chromevox Next, but last I checked it didn't work yet on the Mac or at least not well enough. But I currently use Chrome and Safari interchangeably and have been very pleased with the results. Chromevox is available for free from http://www.chromevox.com .
Can you please tell me, besides the speed, how is Chrome better than Safari with Voiceover? And what does Chromabox do for you? When I had some sight, I used to love Chrome just for its speed but now I seem to falter in it with some command or other and have given up on it.
