Garageband and Audio Units/VST

Hey all,
So I was looking for good-sounding effects which were compatible with garageband and I found two options: VST, and Audio Units. I tried to install both: Kerovee as a VST, and Amviance as an audio unit. Even though I pasted both into their respective directories, none of them actually show up in the audio units on garageband. is there anything I have to do before using them?

Hi. What version of Garageband are you using? If Garageband 10, you'll need to make sure those are 64 bit plugins.
