Dock badges and voice over announcing them.

macOS and Mac Apps
Hello! So, Voice over announces the badges for the dock items. For example, it tells how many unread mails are in the mail app. My mac doesn't do this for me, I think because of the low speech verbosity. Because if I set it to high, it works. How could I get this working with low speech verbosity aswell? If I set the "doc items" verbosity in custom speech verbosity to high, it doesn't work.
