Hi there
Is there anyway I can disable the trackpad on my MacBook Pro? I find myself accidentally move the cursor and type on wrong places and activate wrong items.
Thanks.

2 options, neither ideal

You can do this by having an external mouse or trackpad attached to your MacBook, and enable the option in System Preferences to turn off the MacBook's trackpad when an mouse/trackpad is attached.

There is also an option to turn off the trackpad when Mouse Keys is enabled. But, as Mouse Keys seriously interferes with VoiceOver's keyboard controls, it's not a viable option.

So, attaching a cheap and cheerful wireless mouse, but not using it is likely to be your best option. Only you can decide if the accidental touch of the trackpad are worth this ☺️
