macOS and Mac Apps
Hi! I am looking for some database software for the mac that works with VoiceOver. I know there's filemaker pro out there for $500 but not sure how accessible it is. I have used MS Access in the past to do database design but have switched totally to the mac. Does anybody have any recommendations or info? Thanks, Jim

Hi, this really depends on what you want to do with the application. Personally I simply run an UBUNTU system on a VM on my MBA. I then use LibreOffice to do simple database work and so far I haven't come across accessibility issues which I couldn't manage. I admit, this is not really OSX, but I gave up looking for productivity solutions which by the way also holds for word processing and tables. I use VMWARE fusion for virtualization and this software really works excellently with VO and switching between systems is simply a matter of a key press or two.
