Copying the current URL in Safari

How can I do it?

This something simple that I could not find a simple answer to.
In Windows I would press f6 and land in the address bar and select and copy the current url.
But for Safari I can't find a way to do it. I checked an option in the advanced tabs to show full url but couldn't find it.

Thanks,
Marlon

Hi,

Press Command L, which brings you to the address field, and then just press command C to copy.

This will bring you straight up to the URL bar and select whatever is in that field. Also just wanted to point out that this works and most browsers, not just Safari.

St*pid enough.

I use cmd l every day to open sites but never realized that the current URL was there I just start typing.
Thanks,
Marlon
