Can't open the contextual menu on the dock

Hello Applevis fellows,

I'm having trouble opening the contextual menu on the dock. I tried the VO + shift key + m key shortcut to no avil. And I also tried to press and hold down the Control key and click my laptop's trackpad to open the contextual menu on the doci and, just like the contextual menu shortcut, it simply moved the focus away from the dock on my braille device and returned to the Finder.

The bug page mentioned this issue and also suggested a turnaround, which seem doesn't work on my Macbook Pro laptop at all.

Any of you have any suggestions I might be able to open the contextual menu on the dock? And also is there a keyboard shortcut that will remove icons from the dock if I can't open the contextual menu?

Happy Holidays,

Jator
