Apple does offer apple care plus for the mac. AppleCare for the mac extends the warranty on any iMac or Mac book from one year to three years. The main difference between AppleCare for the Mac and AppleCare for the iPhone, iPod, and iPad is that Apple care covers accidental damage on the mobile devices where it does not cover accidental damage on the Mac.
I hope this information answers your question.

Hi,
I guess my main question was whether apple care plus for the mac covers accidental damage or not. Anyone know if there is any kind of accidental damage protection plan for the mac?
