Any way to stop other users in a video call from hearing voiceover?

Hey guys, so I'm meant to have a zoom call in a few days that will be recorded. I don't want to have voiceover heard in the call. I'd like to not edit the recording. Is there any way I can use voiceover without it being heard through zoom?

Headphones?

Using headphones while on the call is likely to be your only option if you don't want to mute VoiceOver.

Headphones, or mute zoom

I use headphones in zoom calls.

Alternatively, mute the zoom audio input and unmute only when you want to talk. If you're on a desktop Mac, you can unmute by holding down spacebar. The downside is that VoiceOver will immediately announce that you unmuted, which is undesirable.

Thanks for your help

I tested a recording with headphones on, and it didn't pickup voiceover. Thanks for all of your tips and advice.
