Amadeus Pro Vs. Lite for podcasting

macOS and Mac Apps

Hi all, I was just looking for some opinions on Amadeus. I recently started a podcast and heard a lot of great things about the app in terms of accessibility and functionality. Upon visiting the app store however, I noticed both a pro and lite versions. I was just wondering what the difference is (other than the price) and if Amadeus Lite offers enough features to do sound editing for a podcast. I'd just be looking at normalizing volume levels, inserting audio clips into a recording and cutting out segments of audio, I think.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Also, if I do get lite, can I upgrade from that to pro at a discount instead of having to pay full price for both apps? Thanks again!

bumping this question because I'd like to hear the answer, too. Only diff from the Web page seems to be VST plugin support in the Pro version. His "compare" page isn't very usable.
