Dear all,
As we've been told to stay home and not to leave, I decided to learn to use terminal. I found it easy but the issue that I have is with the delta symbol, as it known some commands on terminal needs the delta symbol to be written to run the command, but it seems the symbol is no where to be found:).
I tried to use different keyboards, like US international, ABC and British PC, but didn't find the delta. The strange thing is, when I google commands that needs delta, VoiceOver pronounce it.
Note: I use Mac book pro and I don't use external keyboard.

I suspect what you're actually looking for is a Tilda (~) symbol, not the Greek delta. On Unix systems like Mac OS, the tilda basically points to your home user folder so it is indeed quite commonly used.

On a US keyboard, you type Tilda by pressing Shift+Grave accent, that's the key to the left of the number 1. On different language, this key may be in a different position.
