Hey everybody.

So using this article:

I can now make 1Password fill in my email address and password for the one site I've saved so far. Now I'm looking into saving more sites and making 1P generate stronger passwords and changing them. I'm starting here.

I don't readily see how you'd use this. for example, it suggests that hitting down arrow on a field will do something. It does, but it just puts me in a little menu where all I seem to be able to do is lock 1P, I don't want to do that because I'd just have to type in its password again when I wanted to use it to fill something in.

So can anybody explain how to actually use this? I'm in Firefox if that matters, but I'd think it pretty much should work the same way in any browser. It mentions the toolbar and bringing up a popup a lot. Is there a keyboard shortcut for this?

In some ways I don't need to worry about filling stuff in, I just get to the field and hit cmd-backslash and it fills and logs me in, but if there's a more standard way of doing it, e.g. with the arrows or such, I'd love to know how it all works. I suspect that more standard way is what I'm going to need to use to save logins, and then make stronger passwords and change them.

I honestly don't remember how I set up the one site I tested saving the login info for at this point. But I figure it's time I finally get to grips with this thing and make stuff more secure.
