Wikipedia and VoiceOver

Is there a way to read Wikipedia articles with VoiceOver so that voiceover will not constantly say that there is a link? A Wikipedia app that only displayed straight text would do the trick. Speak Screen achieves this but it will read the entire Wikipedia article without letting you start reading a particular part of the article. Another solution would be to have the ability to set VoiceOver not to verbalize links.
If someone has a solution I would love learning about it. Thanks.
