Website not secure warning

By Ipadman, 2 April, 2019

iOS and iPadOS

Ever since updating to iOS 12.2, voice-over has been telling me that the websites I regularly visit are anot secure.
If it was just one or two sites, I would probably ignore it or think it was a problem with the websites themselves, but since it’s most of the sites I visit, I was wondering if anyone else was having this problem with voice-over.
When I look in the address bar, voice-over tells me that the website is not secure as well, but it still lets me visit the site.

That's just telling you something you probably already know

That's just informing you that you're not connecting to the website with an encrypted (SSL) connection. A secure site URL will begin with HTTPS rather than HTTP. Most sites are nonsecure unless it's a site where you are going to be transferring personal information (such as a bank).
