Warning, don't update JBL Connect App/Battery Status

Update 08-07-2020
My apologies, it seams that my speaker was not receiving the appropriate charge, and this, is why I was not receiving the proper battery charge status. The latest version of the app still holds battery charge accessibility.

IF you use the JBL connect iOS app to check the battery status on your JBL supported speaker todays update breaks this functionality. I will be contacting JBL support in the coming days.
