Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone has had luck using this keyboard. I really love the form factor and the key action, but I'm not having much luck getting it to work with my phone. I can't get it to interact, and I can't access the rotor. The only way I can activate text fields is by double-tapping them on my phone. Given that this is a Logitech keyboard, I'm thinking I must be doing something wrong. Can anyone give me pointers for using this keyboard?
TIA,
Donna

have you tired
hi, have you tried using the conbination of up arrow plus left or right arrows? that is how you access the rottor while quick navegation is on; you also activate or deactivate quick nav by pressing left and right arrows at the same time.
While moving through the rottor, to move through the opcions of the rottor, you use up and down arrows as in the touch screen.
hth.
and what do you think about that keyboard? how mini is it?
thanks
Problem solved
Hi Karina,
So I got it sorted out. The problem was that when I was trying out another keyboard, I had enabled the Full Keyboard Access setting. I've turned it back off, and now the MX mini is behaving as expected.
I really like the keyboard. The keys feel spacious and have good action. For me, it is just the right size, but of course that is a very subjective thing. I'm not sure how to describe the size, maybe about the size of a mass market paperback
Thanks for your suggestions.
Cheers,
Donna

On the size, I have the MX mini here, and it's about the same size as my macbook keyboard. I'm wondering, are you talking about the Logitech Keys To Go 2 as that, as far as I understand, is considerably smaller. The MX mini, isn't really mini at all, it's just lacking the number pad and I'd not consider it very portable as there is quite a thick bar at the back which holds the battery and brains. it's a lovely keyboard, really like the scooped keys, but it's heavy and not something I tend to toss in my backpack.
Would this fit in my pocket?
I am really looking for a very small keyboard which can fit in my pocket. I know, it sounds unrealistic, but, It need not have large keys. I am sure that I can adapt to using keyboard with very small keys, either typing using thumbs, or, just bringing all fingers very close to each other.
The dimensions of the…
The dimensions of the Logitech MX Mini are:
29.59 x 13.19 x 2.09 cm; 550 g
So, unless you have rather large pockets, the answer is no. This is a full sized keyboard, all be it missing the number pad.
I'm wondering if OP is talking about the Keys To Go keyboard which is significantly smaller and lighter, yet still not pocketable.
On size
No, I'm not talking about the keys to go. I have it sitting here right next to my Macbook Air. It's a smidge longer, but about half as deep. I suspect the name Mini was given because it's smaller than the full Logitech keyboard.
Personally, I love it. But as I said, the perfect size is a very subjective thing. I have a tiny keyboard--I forget what it's called. I discovered very quickly that while I didn't mind typing a text message on it, I wouldn't have wanted to write anything very long, because I found it too cramped for extensive typing. Also, it folds in the middle, which is how it fits in a pocket. But that fold made it harder to type on if I wasn't using it on a hard surface. Again, a personal preference
