Useability Of Online Therapy Apps
As a psychology major, I am interested in how people can best receive mental health services. I am interested in finding out if anyone has tried either of the largest online therapy apps, BetterHelp or TalkSpace and what their experiences with them were. I would like to make mental health services available to everyone, so I would love some feedback on accessability for my research. Thank you in advance for your feedback.
Due to my busy schedule I have not been able to find the time to receive the, in person, therapy that interests me. I would really like to hear about people’s experiences with these online options; I’m sorry that I don’t have any personal experiences of my own to offer.
You would be wise to get into this early.
Currently, I have Kaiser permanente as my health provider. With the IOS app, I can order prescritption refills, schedule an appointment, check lab results as well as email my doctors. And recently, they added a feature where I can talk with a doctor via face time for non life critical issues. I’ve had a chance to try it out and it’s great as it saves time and cost. If I could do this with all doctor visits, it would be great but sadly, my dentist still requires me to do office visits. LOL.
