Twitter apps for both platforms

iOS and iPadOS

Hi all. I'm staring with this, though any Mac users would be great too. I just key word, got back on twitter. However, the Twitteriffic and Twitter apps don't have much sounds, patriccularly not twitteriffic anymore. Does anyone use anything else now? As for the Mac, using Night Owl which hasn't beenupdated since before I moved which was three years ago. Thanks.

The native Twitter app

By AliceP104

Hi,
I only have an iPhone and not a Mac but I hope this post is of some help to you. I use both the native Twitter app and Twitterrific; if you want to enable all notifications on the native Twitter app, go to Settings and Privacy from the user menu and select ‘notifications’. From within there, you can turn off the quality filter so that you will be notified about everything and not just things Twitter deems worth notifying you about. Also you can manage what types of notifications you receive. Twitterrific cannot deliver push notifications anymore because Twitter have stopped allowing 3rd party apps to deliver notifications so it is out of Twitterrific’s control and is something they never wanted to have to do.
I hope that information is of some use and I’m sorry I can’t be of any help regarding the Mac side of things.

When I tried Twitter I used both affs for ipad.
I liked them both because they all had their merits.

Hi. First, I don't always like "mobile" sites, it's just a personal dislike so I rarely use them. Second, as for twitteriffic, I deleted it only because I had forgotten about the third party disabled extenssion. The Mac I'm still using night owl but that hasn't been updated in ages so I don't really know why I am using it at all. I don't care for thetwitter ap simply because they are a little discombobulated. I also enjoy the maybe sound or vibration notification of yes, that tweet has been posted. I appreciate all the responses thanks.
