Turning off alarms on Amazon echos remotely?

By KE8UPE, 3 September, 2021

Good morning,
I have 2 amazon Echo devices.
I have an alarm set on them, that goes off every Sunday.
However, for this weekend, I need to turn it off.
Can anyone tell me how to do this, using the Alexa app?
Thanks, & have a fantastic Friday!

How to

Once you open the Alexa app, you need to click the more tab at the bottom right hand corner. When you again touch near the top of the screen, you’ll find various options such as reminders, timers, and alarms. Double tap the alarm tab, and if you swipe to the right you’ll find your alarm has an on and off switch you could just double tap that, and you should be good to go.
Hope this helps.

Hi,
I tried as you suggested, but the button won’t activate. What else could I try?
