thoughts on Ramblio?

I was curious what you all thought of the ramblio app! Have you used it?

If you've never heard of it or haven't given it a shot yet, the way I describe it to people is TikTok meets Clubhouse. You can post whatever content you want, but it's audio only, no video. The clubhouse part is the hangouts option, where you can listen in or join and chat.

I was apprehensive to be honest, I wasn't sure I needed yet another social app to keep track of, but I'm really enjoying it. Especially the audio portion! I see all kinds of posts from people in all sorts of Facebook groups, but it's a whole other thing hearing their voice. It feels more personal.

I hope it sticks. I have a good feeling about it!

I really don't like recording posts, it makes me nervous. However, I do like the hangouts. So far I don' know many people yet and i have questions but can't find any guidelines anymore.

I've spent more time there and I really like it.

I'm getting used to recording posts and looking for ways to make them more interesting. My only frustration is the hangouts. If someone is slow to let me in there's no way to let them know I want to come in. I wish they'd just let newcomers in automatically. An alert tone would also be nice. I have a couple of other suggestions but they're minor and others have already suggested them. Thanks for such a great app and I hope it can continue.

I had this issue. I had to have it send another link. Or check your spam folder.

no notifications when receiving a message

Hi,
I just downloaded this app today. I'm not getting any notifications when a friend sends me a private message. I've checked the 'settings' section under the 'more' tab, and there are only two options, something about hiding rambles and something about hiding rambles from AI, both of these are off, because I don't want to hide anything. But when a friend sends a message, I get no sound or no notification what so ever. Notifications are turned on for Ramblio under my iOS settings, and banners are set to persistent, and the sound is on too. I only get a very quiet sound in the app when I send a voice message to a friend. That's it. There is a notifications tab too, but it just says I've got no notifications, there are no settings for enabling notifications. The sound quality for this app is great. I'm on the latest iOS 2026.2.1, and an iPhone 17 pro. All my other apps are working fine with notifications, WhatsApp, Messages, Reddit, etc.. It's just this one. Any ideas? I looked at the different plans, but they seem to be for message length, and not notifications, at least I hope not!
