Hi all,

Is there a way to send the same text message to multiple contacts using the native contacts app, and if not is there another easy to use app that I can do this in?

Thanks.

From messages app type the beginning of a name then double tap the name on the screen and do it with another. Alternatively hit add new contact, add the first contact, then repeat those steps until everyone you want is added.

You can just ask Siri to send a message to contact1 and contact2 and contact3... where contact1, contact2, etc. are names of your contacts.

can I pull up a list of my contacts?

I'm mainly going to want to do this at thanksgiving and Christmas each year so I can wish my friends a happy day, and as such one message will be going to probably 20 or 25 people or more. Is there a way that I can pull up a list of my contacts then, either after typing part of a name and clicking on it or in some other way so I won't leave someone out from receiving my greeting?

That’s where clicking add contact comes in. It pulls up your contacts list.

Okay I just tested it and once I typed the first name and hit add contact it did indeed bring up my contact list. Now do I just find another contact and add it, then back out and find another contact I want to add? I'm asking because when I finally got my list pulled up and chose a second contact, when I clicked on it I got taken into the contact where I can send a message, call that contact, etc. If I'm on the right track then how do I get back out where I can type my message and send it once I get everybody added? Btw I'm using an iPhone SE 2020 if that matters.

Sorry for all of the questions but since I've never done this before I want to be sure I'm doing it right.

Depends on the contact info

If the contact has more than 1 way to be contacted such as two numbers or a number and an email it will take you to their contact info so you can decide where to send the message. Also, if you start to type in a contact you can tap their name and add them without hitting add contact. Add contact gives you a full list to pick from.
