safari in ios7

iOS and iPadOS
Hi all, After upgrading to ios 7, I have been wondering about some of the new things in Safari. Specifically, is there any way to take the websites at the top, Disney, apple, yahoo, and espn, off of the screen. Also, where did the search box go? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also, Is anyone else having trouble accessing the bar at the bottom of the screen? On some pages, the bar with back, forward, share, and pages doesn't seem to want to come up when you press the bottom. Maybe this is due to the page being shown in full screen for some reason... or is it a bug?

Safari in IOS 7

Hi. On my 5S running 7.01, I can only bring up the bar with Back, forward, Share, etc. when I am on the first screen of a webpage. Otherwise, these do not appear for me at the bottom of a screen other than the first one. They do appear at the top of any screen of a webpage on my iPad Mini running IOS 7.

You can now do a search in the same area as the address bar just like on Firefox and Safari on the mac. Hope this helps.

As you move along the webpage, the safaris taking up the entire screen. Therefore, you have to double tap the status bar, so the focus of the screen will go all the way to the top. By Dan, you will have all the navigation buttons back. Hope this help.s.

To get the bottom controls back when they go away, double tap the Address button at the top. You do not have to be at the top of the page to do this, though for some reason it does seem hard to get to.

hi, to remove those things from the screen, as you asked, you need to remove them from your favorites. it would be nice, if they'd have just put a toggle in to the safari settings, to turn that thing on or off, not just define a folder. but you basicly have two ways. either make an empty folder to asign to that function in the safari settings, or delete the icons from the favorites, so its blank.

Dallas, thanks for the info. Thats precisely what I was looking for. I use safari a lot, and those links were irritating in the extreme.

I found that retapping on the bottom right corner would bring focus to the bar with utilities, bookmarks, and all that if I'm getting part of the web page where the bar should be.
