reading math in my phone

Hello,

I’m currently taking a probability course through openMIT and need to read mathematical expressions. I have no previous experience with this. At the moment, VoiceOver in Safari ignores all the mathematical expressions. I tried accessing the course on my PC with NVDA, and it worked better. However, I plan to study mostly while I am at work, so I would prefer to use my phone.

How can I read these mathematical expressions using VoiceOver? Since NVDA can read them, I believe the expressions themselves are accessible, but perhaps I need to adjust some settings.

I would appreciate any assistance.
